Talkiatry Secures $210M in Series D Funding to Expand its Psychiatry Services

New York-based Talkiatry, the largest private employer of psychiatrists in the United States, secured a $210 million in Series D funding to scale its virtual-first mental healthcare services across the U.S in 2026.

Funding To Date

Founded in 2010, Talkiatry has now raised approximately $420 million in funding to date, according to the latest funding data compiled by Healthitmedia.com (Health IT Media). In 2024, Talkitary secured $130 million in equity and debt financing, bringing its total raise to $245 million, led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) with participation from Perceptive Advisors, and debt financing was provided by Banc of California.

Series D Investors

The latest Series D investment round was led by Perceptive Advisors, with participation from Sofina, Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), blisce/, and Left Lane Capital, alongside a debt facility from Banc of California.

2026 Expansion Plans

According to the Series D announcement on PR Newswire, Talkiatry will use the fresh funds to fuel the integration of AI-driven tools to optimize its clinical operations and administrative workflows (billing/paperwork) to improve clinical efficiency.

Digital health companies have secured more than $170 billion in venture capital funding to date, according to the latest funding data compiled by Digital Health Funding. More recently, Midi Health, the fastest growing women’s telehealth company, raised $100 million in its latest Series D funding at a $1 billion valuation. With fresh funds, Midi Health plans to further deepen its telehealth services across all 50 states in the U.S. in 2026.
