Big Health Raises $23.7M to Scale Up its Digital Mental Health Treatments

Big Health, a provider of prescription digital therapeutics specially for various mental health conditions, raised $23.7 million in strategic funding.

The new round of funding was co-led by .406 Ventures and AlleyCorp, with participation from CVS Health Ventures, Blue Venture Fund, Sandbox Clinical Ventures, Gilde Healthcare, and Supermoon Capital.

2026 Expansion Plans

With recently raised funds, Big Health plans to scale up its clinically validated, app-based digital therapeutics—Sleepio (for insomnia), Daylight (for anxiety), and Spark Direct (for depression)—which use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques. The startup plans to scale up these non-drug, evidence-based solutions for employers and health plans across the U.S. in 2026.

Funding to Date

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in San Francisco, Big Health has now raised approximately $160 million in funding to date, according to the latest funding data compiled by Healthitmedia.com (Health IT Media).

Digital Health Funding

Digital health companies have secured more than $170 billion in venture capital funding to date, according to the latest funding data compiled by Digital Health Funding. More recently, Midi Health, the fastest growing women’s telehealth company, raised $100 million in its latest Series D funding at a $1 billion valuation. With fresh funds, Midi Health plans to further deepen its telehealth services across all 50 states in the U.S. in 2026.
